Rounds 3 and 4 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is bringing a ton of excitement and pre- race activities to the Phoenix Region of Arizona.

Starting Wednesday April 13th, Majerle’s Sports Grill will be hosting the always informative and entertaining Lucas Oil Totally Off Road Radio Show. You can expect the Live Pre Race Kickoff Show to feature a great line up of special guests with more news to be announced shortly.

Thursday, we will be visiting Chronic Cantina for a street party at the door steps of the ASU Campus located right off of the “Famous Mill Avenue” [url]http://millavenue.com/[/url]! This event is guaranteed to go off as ASU is known to draw loads of good looking party people who know how to have fun. Rockstar Energy and Lucas Oil have assembled there top athletes with vehicle displays and sign autographs at this event which will include- Brian Deegan, Rob McCachren, Kyle Leduc , Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Robby Wood, Rodrigo Ampudia and more.

The fun and pre race activities don’t end there! On Friday April 15th we will be at Tilted Kilt where there is no shortage of hot waitresses to serve great food and with a smile. With good looking girls, 900hp truck on display, big plasma TV’s everywhere and Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series drivers signing autographs and displaying vehicles, this is sure to be a hit for the fans and racers alike. To top it all off, there is a full weekend of the most intense racing action going down at Speedworld, Saturday the 16th through Sunday the 17th.

Get on down to Roger Normans Shop on Friday April 8th, for the first DVD release party done by a husband/wife team of Photographer Mike Wilson, and his wife Kat Wilson.

The event is all ages, with a $8 cover charge which will get you all the beer, water, or soda beverages you want. You must be 21 years or older to drink of course! The movie starts at 8pm, but come as early as 6:30 to hang out and meet new people. The DVD will be for sale for $10 as well.

Phoenix Awaits the Return of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing

Lucas Oil Off Road Racing returns to Firebird International Raceway just outside of Phoenix AZ. Racing enthusiast have identified the newest short course track as the fan favorite and the surrounding region is blazing with hype about the series starting and ending the 2011 season at Firebird’s very exciting and unique track. Round 1 is sure to set things off in a big way.

Race fans are encouraged to join in the festivities with the official pre race party going down Wednesday March 16th. Top racers of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will greet the fans at Majerles Sports Grill Chandler with vehicle displays, autograph signings and a live from the scene broadcast of the Lucas Oil Totally Off Road Radio Show. The fun happens at 6-8pm with delicious food and refreshing drink specials. Majerles Sports Grill is 7 miles from the race track and 12 minutes down the road to the Chandler Fashion Center.

Majerles Sports Grill will be presenting Deviant Films latest production “Changing Course” featuring the action and stars of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

Lucas Oil’s Totally Off Road Radio will have several scheduled guests but all are welcome to discuss anything short course off road. Guests include but are not limited to:

4130 is officially signed on to attend the entire 2011 Lucas Oil Off Road Races this year! Starting the weekend of March 19th-20th, we will be out in full force at the season opener of LOORRS at Firebird Raceway in Arizona. This past weekend was the first of five races for the 2011 SCORE series, the Laughlin Desert Challenge, and what a race it was! The weather was perfect, sunny skies for the most part, with a nice breeze to keep the dust from lingering in the air. Of course the Laughlin Leap was no disappointment, especially watching B.J. Baldwin and Robby Gordon taunting each other back and forth, definitely made for some entertainment! The fans were out in full force on Saturday and Sunday to watch their favorite racers battle for the top spots in the 2-day event, made up of 19 classes that were divided up into 5 groups. There was plenty of action and some carnage both days, from flat tires, to cars and trucks rolling. Our 4130 Pro Team driver, Harley Letner, had 2 great days of racing, finishing 2^nd overall in the Class 1 division.  Congrats Harley!

We hope everyone who went out to the race had a great, and safe time.  The next race in the SCORE series will be the San Felipe 250. But this coming weekend, on January 22^nd, will be the M.O.R.E 2011 season opener, in Barstow, CA. Good luck to everyone participating in that event!
