Cole Browne

Cole Browne

Name: Cole Browne
Age: 20
Location: Carlsbad, CA

Cole is originally from Seattle, Washington, but has lived in Southern California since he was 6 years old. When he was younger, Cole enjoyed racing his KX85 up at Lake Elsinore, and eventually stepped up to racing larger bikes such as his KX450F. He always had a passion for working on trucks and watching the MDR races though, and by the time he was 16, he was fully convinced on fabricating a truck to race one day. Being friends with drivers such as Brett Sloppy and Mike Sheehan only made him want it more. During his sophomore year of High School, Cole bought a 2004 Tacoma. Since then, he’s been building it up with a goal to one day race it in the 1450 class in the SNORE series, or Class 7 in BITD.

Cole enlisted in the Marine Corps in June of 2010 right after graduating from High School. He is currently in the Marine reserves, and going to school as he continues to build the truck. Cole describes himself as very outgoing and loves to crack jokes. .

He explains that he joined 4130′s crew because they have a passion for desert motor sports, just like him, and are the real deal. He believes that 4130 stands strongly by what they are representing and have shown pure devotion to their riders and teams as they helped Sloppy and the victims of the California 200 through the hard times last year.

The Truck: Nicknamed “BLACKHAWK” is a 2004 4×4 Tacoma. It has the Camburg Long Travel kit and Icon Vehicle 9.3″ shocks up front, with RadFlo 2.0 bumpstops. The rear has Radflo 2.5″ triple bypasses with Deaver F67 pack, and 12″ RR shackles. It also had a T100 axle in the rear with a locker and 4:88 gears and has a full bedcage. Cole would like to thank Janzer Bro’s, Icon Vehicle Dynamics, Camburg and Radflo for helping to make this ongoing dream come true. The truck is still in progress and every month it comes closer to its final goal of racing. You can find Cole on Dezert Rangers, TTORA, or SoCal Tundras as “BLACKAWK250″
