Ian Yount

Ian Yount

Ian Yount was born and raised in Clovis, CA. Living in the out skirts of town, he says that there wasn’t much to do as a kid, besides ride bikes and play in the dirt. He got his first dirtbike when he was only 7 years old, and has since been riding. For a while, Ian has wanted to get a prerunner, but never had the funds to do so. About six months ago though, Ian found a ranger that had been abused, yet still had potential. The truck had been neglected by the previous owner, but Ian has been fixing and fabricating new parts for it, trying to get it as clean as possible.

The truck is currently apart in his garage, with Ian remounting the bumpstops and cleaning up the 3-link. Ian loves to work on just about anything that he can get his hands on, and he just finished the fiberglass sub box that fits in between the racing seats. The truck isn’t a missile right now with its 2.3 inline four, but Ian has about 70% of the parts for the turbo that he is going to put on before the next Pismo trip this fall.

Ian is currently a full time student, and once he gets his degree, he would like to organize a small team to race the 5-1600 bug that he plans on beginning to build this year. Ian says, “Everywhere I go I always am reppin’ my 4130 hat, and my favorite shirt in my closet is my old 4130 shirt with the Trophy Ranger front shot across the stomach and the classic coilovers in back”. We’re stoked to have Ian joining the Flow Team, and to have him rockin’ 4130 Clothing for us out in Central Cali!
